GCC CYF

The Disciples Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) is for high school youth in grades nine through twelve. This group provides the leadership for our youth program. Out of the CYF group comes The Light's representative on the Mission Council.

Goals for CYF Youth:

To learn how to interpret scripture through prayerful study.
To have an understanding of how they fit into the Local and Global community of Christ.
To fuel a desire for an interdependent Christian walk.
To become empowered to be effective leaders and servants of Jesus Christ.
To have an understanding of some of their spiritual gifts.
To be part of a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.
