Grace Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

An Inclusive Community of Faith Where All Are Welcome

If you are not already familiar with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination, we encourage you to visit About The Disciples, which contains information about our church's foundation and mission.

Our congregation's particular values are summarized as follows:

Vision (Where we want to go)
Demonstrate God’s love and acceptance to all
Mission (How do we get there?)
Express God’s incarnate love throughout our community of Christian faith, leading by example through our worship, learning, service and fellowship
Core Values (Who we are)
  • ACCEPTANCE: allow freedom to worship regardless of belief
  • FAITHFULNESS: trust in God
  • AWARENESS: constant mindfulness that God is active in us and in the world
  • DISCIPLESHIP: committed to living in the way of Jesus

Our Ministry

From the basement of a home, to a storefront facility, to a storage building, the congregation of Grace Christian Church eventually constructed a permanent home on a hilltop in Helena, celebrating the first worship service in their new sanctuary on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2003. For more than twenty years, we have welcomed others to join us from wherever they are on their individual journeys of faith, seeking wholeness in a fragmented world.
