From Interstate 459

  1. Take I-459 Exit 6 (Helena/Bessemer).
  2. Go toward Helena on Hwy 52 / Morgan Road.  You will be traveling southeast.
  3. Go 2.6 miles to the traffic light at Morgan Road and South Shades Crest Road.
  4. Continue straight through that intersection and drive 9/10 of a mile further.
  5. Grace Christian's driveway is the first turn to the right immediately after Cherokee Beach Road (Shelby Cty 93).  (If you pass a golf driving range, you have gone too far.)
  6. At the foot of the driveway you will see a stone planter and the sign for Grace Christian Church.
  7. Go up the hill to the church building. You will pass a chalet on your right, which is the regional office of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Alabama-Northwest Florida.
  8. Grace's chapel is at the top of the drive.  The Fellowship Hall is on the lower level and the Sanctuary is on the upper level.
